Nicolas Cage gearing up for Kick-Ass

After starring in Ghost Rider in 2007, Hollywood actor, Nicolas Cage is gearing up for his second comic adaptation performance. However, this time he is not going to play the central character. Nicolas Cage is going to star in the comic adaptation of “Kick-Ass.” Along with Nicolas Cage, there is going to be Aaron Johnson, Lyndsy Fonseca, and Chloe Moretz.

Kick-Ass, written by Mark Millar and artist John Romita, Jr., tells the story of an average New York teenager, Dave Lizewski, who becomes a super hero and fights crime. He has his secret identity but every body in the school thinks that he is gay.

In the movie, Nicolas Cage plays the role of an ex-police officer who, in order to take down a drug lord, trains his daughter (Chloe Moretz) in martial arts. Lyndsy Fonseca will play Dave’s love interest, who thinks that Dave is gay.
